“My massage was fabulous!”

I booked a massage based on the previous yelp reviews. It was fabulous. Deep tissue 60 minutes with Jen. I left feeling great and even better the next day. As previous reviewers stated this is not a fancy day spa but if are are looking for a high quality massage, this is the place. I will be back.

“May have been the best massage I've ever had.”

The place was clean, and everyone was friendly; the atmosphere was nice and mellow/quiet. I wanted a massage that would help stretch me out after a day of snowboarding, and I got what may have been the best massage I've ever had. An hour with Christine, and I was relaxed and limber. She adjusted the pressure to just what I needed.

"What a difference a massage makes...."

With my activity level and injuries, I have found the benefit of getting a massage frequently. In Los Angeles, there are no shortage of places that I have visited for therapy and have found this place to be at the top of the list. Here are the 5 reasons why you should come here and why I'll be back:

1) Easy to book appointments. Called and they were available for 2 people within the hour for 1 1/2 hour massage.
2) Easy to find location. Right across from the Stove, with plenty of parking.
3) Friendly staff. Not only was Carrie really welcoming, her staff was the same.
4) Relaxing, clean and comfortable rooms. Warm comfortable beds and clean sheets that allow you to heal mind, body and soul.
5) Amazing hands. Without a word during the session, my therapist was able to find all the knots and work them out with the right amount of pressure. Did not feel rushed and provided the therapy where needed.

Massages feel great, but the true test is how you feel the next 24 hours. Amazing that all soreness was gone that night. Woke up refreshed and was able to tackle the slopes the next two days no problem. In fact, I woke up after the trip without any soreness. We all know that massage therapy promotes healing and recovery. A great masseuse allows you to maximize this opportunity and enjoy life....Thanks you Carrie.

“Great deep tissue from Sandy!”

I've been to many Different spas and these girls at the healing arts can give you a great deep tissue!!! Thanks again Sandy.

“Carrie is amazing.”

Carrie is one of those therapists who finds problem areas and fixes them. Highly recommend.

“By far one of the two best therapists is right here in Mammoth Lakes.”

Due to many injuries, I've been getting massage therapy for over 20 years from various therapists in the LA area as well as up here in Mammoth. Carrie Ognibene is outstanding. She has an incredible grasp on the therapeutic aspects of massage and has incredible knowledge of a variety of massage techniques that she draws on as your body needs.

“I loved Christine's pressure and style. I highly recommend this place.”

I've now been to this place 3 times and feel I can write a thorough review. I'm picky with my massages I need deep pressure and usually go to a regular person who does myocardial release. After a couple full days of boarding, through its nice to get a good massage. My third time here last week was one of the best massage I have ever had. I had a 90 min with Christine. My sister had a 90 min with Carrie and loved her. And our friend had Jennifer who she also loved. Depends on your preference. I loved Christine's pressure and style. I highly recommend this place!!!!

“The best massage in a long time!”

Carrie is so knowledgeable and knows many different massage techniques.. she got all the knots I went for the 1.5 hour massage and it was well worth it.

“It was not your typical cookie cutter massage...”

I had read some other reviews on Yelp that helped me determine that this is the place that I wanted to get my massage. I was not disappointed! I requested Carrie and I was glad I did. She really tailored it to my needs. She mixed a variety of techniques. My cousin got her massage with Christine and also was very satisfied. This place is legit and you will leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of.

“Worth EVERY penny.”

Wow. What a fantastic massage from Carrie! My friend had Christine and was equally satisfied with her massage. We both got hourlong deep tissue massages and were so freakin' amazed after. Carrie combined rolfing/structural integration along with deep tissue to work out kinks in my active body. I wholehardheartedly recommend this spot for your massages!!

“It was one of the most relaxing massages I've ever had”

So I haven't had a massage in almost a year. I went to the Healing Arts Center and got a 2 hour deep tissue massage by Phebi. Phebi was super professional and knows her anatomy and craft very well. This is something I will be doing again and would recommend to anyone looking for a good sports massage or just to relax.

“My husband and I both had great massages here.”

Phoebe was awesome and knowledgeable about anatomy and what muscles needed more work and my husband had Sandi who was also great and now has him sold on getting future massages on a regular basis. On the way to the massage he said "an hour and a half seems like a long time for a massage" (who says that?) After the massage he definitely didn't feel that way. Obviously we both recommend these two great masseuses.

“Not too rough and not too light.”

Best way to relax after a day on the mountain is a visit to Healing Arts Centre! I had a 60 min massage with Jennifer A. Jen was fantastic; giving me exactly what I asked for. She was knowledgeable about anatomy and technique and was able to answer all of my questions. My experience was fabulous from beginning to end. I will definitely be going back to her this season!
